Toyota Land Cruiser – Suspension

The Toyota Land Cruiser remains the chassis rails on which is anchored to the body. Now is 11% stiffer than before, according to Toyota.
Retains independent suspension by double wishbones at the front wheels (with reinforced lower leg) and a solid rear axle. It has coil springs and shock absorbers. Free path is larger: 510 mm 570 mm front and rear (an improvement of 30 and 40 mm respectively).
The optional suspension “KDSS ‘consists of two hydraulic cylinders connected to the stabilizer bars (one bar), video. Each cylinder is divided into two halves. The tops of each cylinder are interconnected and the lower is the same. Each connecting line has a reservoir for fluid video.
When the car leans when cornering, the fluid does not move within the cylinders. This controls the body roll. If the ground is very irregular, the hydraulic circuit absorbs some of the vibrations by moving the fluid to the reservoir for video.
The damping “AVS” reduces the rolling and pitching of the body controlling the hardness of the dampers. There are three programs: “Normal”, “Comfort” and “Sport.” These dampers are two air springs for the rear suspension (which replace the coil). The springs can vary the ride height at three levels (normal, high and low). This can happen to the driver or automatically so that the height is kept constant regardless of load, or in terms of speed.
